Macon – Three men were indicted Tuesday, accused of causing the death of 18-year-old Montaego Deshun Maxwell Jr. while in the commission of an armed robbery on Walnut Street on Feb. 3, 2018.

Darius Artellis Lowder, 19, of Lizella, and Ricky Bernard Lowder Jr., 19, and Antonio Deshon Woodard, 18, both of Macon, are charged with felony murder and armed robbery.

An indictment is a charging document issued by grand jurors if the group determines probable cause exists for the case to move forward toward trial.  Each defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
