Macon-Bibb Recreation is offering a FREE one-day Softball Camp for girls in our community. The camp is happening from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Frank Johnson Recreation Center (2227 Mercer University Drive).

The camp is provided in partnership with Babe Ruth Softball and will include health education, field fundamentals, team-building exercises, and lunch. All equipment needed to play will be provided that day.

“We want to help young ladies in our community get active and develop a love for softball they’ll take with them as they grow up,” says Center Coordinator JaCory Bazell. “We’re proud to partner with Babe Ruth Softball to provide a unique day camp for our student athletes.”

The camp is open for girls ages 7 to 16. Everyone is encouraged to register ahead of time through the portal on the recreation website. You can view that here.
