Meet Macon-Bibb’s newest interns

Some college students are getting first-hand knowledge on how our government works by interning with a variety of departments. Mayor Lester Miller recognized them during our Commission Meeting Tuesday night. You can watch it here. 

“We are always excited to see our younger generation interested in how our government operates to get them ready for futures positions,” said Mayor Miller. “This summer, we have a great group of students, and we are thankful for Dr. Henry Ficklin’s role in getting this program going.” 

-Ivuntay Kentez Davis is a student at Savannah State University and is interning at the Municipal Court. 

-Jade Bennett is a student at Georgia Southern University and is interning with Procurement Department. 

-Kallie S. Moye is a student at Fisk University and is interning with the Human Resources Department. 

-Hunter Jackson is a student at Gordon State College and is interning with the Recreation Department. 

-Randall Bowen Kramer is a student at Lee University is interning with the Solicitor’s Office. 

– Kenneth Jordan is a student at Middle Georgia State University and is interning with Code Enforcement. 

-Kierra Ashley Young is a student at Middle Georgia State University and is interning with the Sheriff’s Office Victims Services. 

-Bobby Lee Danielly is a student at Valdosta State University and is interning with the Communications Department. 

-Paige Cupp is a student at Wesleyan College and is interning with the Office of Small Business Affairs.
