Macon — Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 44-year-old Macon man Tuesday on rape and other charges stemming from allegations he assaulted a woman Sept. 17, 2017.
Moses Dewayne Hall is accused of striking a woman with a board with a nail in it, stomping and kicking the woman and raping her, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
An indictment is a charging document issued by grand jurors if the group determines probable cause exists for the case to move forward toward trial.
Each defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
