Macon – The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office will match all funds raised today at the Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia’s 4th annual golf tournament held at Healy Point Country Club.

The money will be used to help the center provide free services to victims of domestic violence, rape, child abuse and other crimes.

Speaking at the opening of the tournament on Friday, District Attorney David Cooke said the center provides an important role in helping crime victims heal.

“I’m so proud of the work that Executive Director Frank Mack and his staff do in helping these victims move from being victims to becoming survivors,” Cooke said.

Since 2015 the district attorney’s office has donated more than $400,000 in confiscated funds to organizations that provide victim services, diversion programs and early intervention services that aim to help area families.
