Students at Brookdale Resource Center receive new shoes

Students who are currently staying at the Brookdale Resource Center are heading back to school in style! Thanks to a generous donation from Brookdale’s Director of Case Management, Tamika Johnson, these students now have brand-new shoes to start the school year.

Johnson started buying and collecting new shoes throughout the year to prepare for the start of the school year. She knew many families wouldn’t be able to afford new shoes as they are transitioning home, so this would be a great way to take that burden off of them.

Thank you for your generosity, Tamika! If you would like to help or donate to the Brookdale Resource Center, click here.
