Mayor proclaims August as Immunization Awareness Month

August is National Immunization Awareness Month, and Mayor Lester Miller presented a proclamation to staff at Atrium Health Navicent to make it official in Macon-Bibb. You can read the full proclamation here. 

The aim of National Immunization Awareness Month is to inform everyone about the importance of vaccinations for people of all ages. 

Through education about the importance of seasonal and routine vaccinations for children and adults, an important opportunity exists to unite the citizens of central Georgia to help save lives.
