It’s time for the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup and there are plenty of opportunities to join and do your part. This Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program which takes place every year in about 20,000 communities throughout the nation.

Keep America Beautiful is celebrating the Great American Cleanup’s 25th year in 2023, between March 21 to June 22. Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful (KMBB) currently has partnered with several local organizations and will be hosting several Great American Cleanup projects throughout the month of April.

“We are so grateful for everyone who has signed up already to host cleanups throughout their community during this time,” said KMBB Executive Director Asha Ellen. “We want to encourage more groups to come together or join one of the existing cleanups.”

If you or your organization would like to host a Great American Cleanup event, email Asha Ellen at asha.ellen@kmbbc.org. KMBB will provide trash bags, litter pickers, gloves, and safety vests.
