The Pink Pancake Breakfast is back! This scrumptious morning event happens during both weekends of the International Cherry Blossom Festival, and is a labor of love by our Fire Department to raise money for the American Cancer Society. To make it even better, the fire crew is teaming up with the Macon Bacon for the third year to add a little more sizzle to your morning meal.

This Saturday, March 25 is your last chance to enjoy pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, and orange juice, all made by the Fire Department. The breakfast is happening at Historic Luther Williams Field (Willie Smokie Glover Drive) from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children 3 and under, and did we mention it’s all you can eat?!

While you’re enjoying your breakfast in the stands, the Fire Department and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office have some entertainment planned for everyone! This will include demonstrations and a few other surprises.

The Pink Pancake Breakfast has been going on for decades, and Chief Shane Edwards says he’s proud to continue that tradition.

“We are so excited for the beautiful weather this weekend and encourage everyone in our community to come out and have fun while supporting the American Cancer Society,” says Chief Edwards. “I truly appreciate the hard work from our firefighters to make this event so fun year after year.”
