Macon – Grand jurors indicted a former Bibb County deputy Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault and violation of oath by a public officer.
Albert James Jordan, 52, is accused of unlawfully pointing a gun at a man at the Citgo on Rocky Creek Road on Aug. 19, 2017.
An indictment is a charging document issued by grand jurors if the group determines probable cause exists for the case to move forward toward trial.
Each defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
